Come to watch Paper Planes performing live at the Wet and Wild Songkran Festival 2026. Prepare for a high-energy takeover on April 14th as the “Leaders of the Pocket-Money Gang” bring their signature Emo-Trap and Pop-Punk sound to the most exclusive stage in Bangkok.
The Origin: The Evolution of Paper Planes
Paper Planes is the Thai alternative rock powerhouse that redefined the modern T-Pop landscape. Led by Hye (Tunwa Ketsuwan), the genius vocalist and producer, and Sen (Nakarin Khunphakdee) on bass, the band evolved from alternative rock roots into a unique fusion of Emo-Trap and Pop-Punk. This fresh sound resonated with a new generation, turning them into icons and the voice of a modern movement.
The Success: From Viral Hits to National Anthems
The band’s trajectory changed forever with the release of “Pretend” (เสแสร้ง), which dominated charts for months. However, it was “Bad Boy” (ทรงอย่างแบด) that truly cemented their legacy, becoming a national phenomenon with hundreds of millions of views. Recently, they’ve continued to push boundaries with their 2025 album “1%” and hits like “Smooth-talker” (สาริกาลิ้นทอง) and “Heart Thief” (เหตุด่วนเหตุร้าย), proving their staying power as one of the most influential acts in Thailand today.
The Performance: Unleashing the Energy
A Paper Planes live show is an adrenaline-fueled experience. Known for Hye’s incredible vocal range and the band’s intense stage presence, their performances are polished, powerful, and raw. On the night of April 14th, expect heavy guitar riffs, soaring choruses, and an infectious energy that will have the entire crowd at The Pimp Bangkok screaming every lyric.
Don’t miss the chance to see the kings of modern rock in an upscale, intimate setting during the peak of Songkran.
